Life is full of changes, both joyful and sad, and we are committed to walking with you through them! If the need you have is not listed here, please contact the church office at stpauls@stpaulspittsford.org and we will do our best to help you.
We love baptisms! If you or your child of any age would like to be baptized, we would be honored to be a part of it. Baptisms involve having a conversation with the pastor about the purpose and meaning of the sacrament of baptism, preferably with both parents (if a child) and sponsors. If you would like to pursue this, please contact Pastor Johanna at pastorjohanna@stpaulspittsford.org.
At St. Paul's, all the baptized who believe that Christ is truly present in this meal are welcome to participate in the sacrament of holy communion. Communion is served every Sunday. We offer wine or grape juice, and the bread is gluten free.
We offer first communion classes for kids (or adults!) who are ready to take this step. If a child is asking about communion, and wondering why they are not receiving it, then it is time to teach them. This usually happens around age 6-8. We hold this class once a year or so for those interested, usually 1-2 classes on a Saturday, depending on availability.

Confirmation, or "Affirmation of Baptism," is a class for junior high youth (7th and 8th) to learn and grow into being adults in the church. We learn about the Bible, and Luther's Small Catechism, and about how our faith calls us to live in the world. At the conclusion of two years, youth affirm the promises made at baptism - the same promises families made when they had their child baptized. Confirmation classes are open to members and friends and scheduled based on each year's participants' needs and schedules.

St. Paul’s is a beautiful space to have a wedding, and we’d love to help you celebrate this joyous occasion. While you do not need to be a member or even Lutheran to have your wedding here, we do expect that a wedding at St. Paul’s will include some religious (Christian) component, and that you will have our pastor as your officiant.
Click here for our wedding brochure for more information.
If you’d like St. Paul’s to help you celebrate your wedding or would like Pastor Johanna to officiate at an off-site venue, please contact Pastor Johanna at pastorjohanna@stpaulspittsford.org or the church office at stpauls@stpaulspittsford.org.
While the loss of a loved one can be devastating, our faith provides space both for grief and for celebrating the new life that we find in Christ. We provide this in the funeral service itself, as well as in the preparation and planning for the service. If you would like to hold your loved one’s funeral at St. Paul’s, please contact Pastor Johanna at pastorjohanna@stpaulspittsford.org.
